Meet our staff

Owner/Manager.
SENCO and Child protection designated person.

We are a small team so you will always see a familiar face. Our staff are all DBS approved and are all NVQ level 3 qualified or working towards the qualification through the apprenticeship scheme. We have at least three members of staff who are first aid qualified and hold level 2 food hygiene certificates. We pride ourselves on attending regular EYFS training courses and keep up to date with all relevant legislation. We welcome students and work experience pupils from the local schools and colleges.

Key Person Scheme

When a child starts with us they will be allocated a key person, this will be a member of staff who will monitor the child’s progress whilst they are with us. Records are made of each child’s achievements and are available to view and contribute to at any time. We hold Progress Review meetings each term for parents to meet their  child’s key worker and discuss their progress. These records will be passed on to the relevant schools, with permission, when the child leaves us.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

FAQs about Jack in the Box Preschool are available on our FAQs page and are updated regularly, so a question you may have now or in the future could be listed here.

Facebook

We have an open Facebook page where we will not display faces of any of our children, but we do also have a “closed” group that parents and carers will be invited to join, where they can see photos of their child at play during their time at Jack in the Box. Parents will be asked for their permission before displaying any photos.
