Make sure your child is on the waiting list as soon as possible
It is important that you put your child’s name down as soon as possible. We will ensure they go on the correct waiting list for when you would like them to start. It’s never too early!
Please don’t wait until the term before you would like them to start as we cannot guarantee we will have space. Our sessions fill up quickly and sometimes a year in advance. For more information about funding please follow the links for Free entitlement for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

Don’t take our word for it…
We have had some lovely feedback from parents and children both past and present:
Both of my children attended Jack in the Box before going to school. They loved their time there and were very sad to leave when they started school. There is a fantastic team who are all very child centered.
I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for giving Alistair such a wonderful experience over the last year at pre-school. He has always loved coming and seems to have been settled pretty much from day one. I know you all work really hard running the pre-school and it shows.
Thank you all so much for making the girl’s time with you such an enjoyable and positive experience.
Thank you all for a wonderful time at Jack in the Box. I have thoroughly enjoyed my work experience here. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I hope to come back soon to visit and help out again.
Thank you for everything you have done for Lottie. She has really enjoyed all the lovely activities you have provided for her.
Jack in the Box is a little gem. Both my daughter and son started at this playgroup. It is well run and has highly qualified, friendly staff in a clean and stimulating environment. It has a lovely garden full of equipment and toys for the children to use. I have recommended this playgroup highly to my family and friends.
Thank you all so much for the care, support and encouragement you have given Kiera. She has had a wonderful time and grown so much in confidence and is now ready for the next stage of ‘big school.
